Replacing this garage door greatly improved the appearance of the garage and kept out the weather. The old door was slightly narrower than today's standards so Knutson Carpentry carefully widened the opening to accommodate the new door and caulked around it for a complete job.
These French doors and solid oak threshold were installed by Knutson Carpentry in place of sliding patio doors which turned this back room, finished in knotty pine, into a very comfortable sun room.

Although the window on the left (seen here before final touch-up) looks unimpressive, there is more here than meets the eye.
Knutson Carpentry first had to rebuild the jam and sill before it finally installed these custom made period storm windows and re-hung the interior swing-in windows. The custom made doors on the right (also seen before touch-up) replaced the badly rotted originals and retore the character of this attractively shaped entry.
